The dimensions of the “FARALLÓ I” model are identical to those of the Atzeneta II. The vessel completes the aquaculture production process by harvesting in liquid ice, an entirely innovative function representing a revolution in the aquaculture sector.

CHARACTERISTICS

The vessel is equipped with a purse-seine fishing system, employed to reach the cages. Thus, the purse is created and then harvesting can begin through direct suction of the fish into cubes of liquid ice, where they die of hypothermia. The ice is created by the vessel, which is capable of making 50 tonnes daily.

The fish, which could be a maximum of 457 mm in size and 2,300 g in weight, are distributed onboard in four cargo hoppers. Loading and unloading are carried out from the cockpit.
