The “FARALLÓ I“, identical in size to the Atzeneta II, completes the aquaculture production process by performing the function of weeding in liquid ice, a totally innovative function that represents a revolution in the aquaculture activity.

FEATURES

The boat is equipped with a purse seine fishing system that is used upon arrival at the cages. Thus, the seine is made and the de-weighing operation begins by sucking the fish directly into the liquid ice vats, where they die from hypothermia. The ice is generated by the vessel itself, which has a capacity of 50 tons per day.

The fish, which can have a maximum size of 457 mm and a maximum weight of 2,300 grams, is distributed on board in the four loading hoppers. The loading and unloading operations are carried out from the bridge.
